3:16 Youth Ministry
Why?
Our belief is that Jesus takes very seriously the raising of young woman and men around sound biblical truth, all through a relationship with Him. (Matthew 19-13-14, Luke 9: 47-48, Matthew 18:14) So we too are to take this seriously through encouraging, teaching, and training in righteousness.
What age?
While we have ministry opportunities for all ages, 3:16 youth is specially designated for all people between the 6th and 12th grades.
When and What?
Our teens meet every Wednesday from 6pm-8pm. The first half of our time together we spend time hearing from one another about our lives, praying for one another, and then learning by studying God’s word. The second half of our meeting is usually a time of snacks, games, and hanging out.
Why 3:16?
“Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name.”
